I was just wondering about the next phase of development for Sunshine and thought I might throw this out there. The ability for this company or any CSG company to tap into some real value is by gaining access to the international export market...so in order to do this Sunshine will need a LNG processing plant.
Does anyone have any information on the requirements for such a plant. Things such as technical difficulties, how many people take to build a plant, quality of gas for the input and what kind of gas you can get out, the cost of building a plant, the shipping requirements, how the gas is brokered and finds a buyer?
I noticed in the Origin presentation that they believed they needed around 5500PJ of reserves to make a 3MTPA LNG plant worthwhile, which corresponds well to the 0.5MTPA plant that SHG are currently doing the FEED. This to me indicates that LNG plants are somewhat scaleable? Any comments anyone?
There are currently 4 companies with plans for LNG plants in Gladstone, a town of only 35,000 people. How is this possible?
