enjoyed the scribe very much. mrs 40 has just gone to put her head down but tomorrow (her b'day) i'll pull it out for her to read. she'll enjoy it i know. mrs 40 is missing her clubs and societies down under. she's giving me hell as usual. our lil village is so quiet for her nowadays. trying to sort out a trip to the polar bears in canada for her in a few mths. she say's it's too late to organise it but that's just the message i need to get the energies going. i'll try to arrange it if i can. we prefer to go our own way on trips but churchill may well best be left as a separate package. are you sure the white sheets weren't to keep the sun out of the car lol ? syrian sex, russians, casinos, and marriage certs seem fascinating subjects but it's good to know you have kept a sense of balance by deciding to take a bath in the dead sea ! madaba almost got to see us for xmas just gone but as we didn't fly into amman it got missed. instead we overlanded from cairo to petra via wadi. isn't wadi special ? petra too of course but wadi needs time. we only had one night there as it was thrown in as an extra due to us being ahead of schedule by one day.
