The XJO closed lower on Friday, where spread narrowed, and the volume remained about average.
The Index continues to gyrate around that purple breakdown line. The tight trading range and pressing nature towards the upside, suggests this may be part of an absorption process. Although price will remain vulnerable to a supply event, until it can demonstrate some strength & accelerate away from this level.
For the Index to fail here and see price turn and move lower, a clear break below Monday's low @5435.9 would be the initial trigger, and confirmation would come with a clear break below Thursday weeks bar @5412.4, which would bring a test of the lower purple breakdown line into play @5361.7
