The other point re $1.00 - if it continues to push north of here and towards $1.00, it will also likely be included in the ASX200 index at next rebalance date, which in itself creates a new level of demand for the stock by the index funds.
There are currently 13 stocks in the ASX200 with a market cap of $900m or lower. MGX at $0.75 would have a market cap > $900m.
