"Carriers and shippers in Asia are facing port omissions and vessel and cargo delays due to severe storms that have led to port and terminal closures in the region in the last few days. Sailing schedules showed delays of up to five days on some services due to the typhoons."
On the bright side the September blast furnace utilization rate crept higher to the highest level in 3 years. Port inventories are low. So Koolan should expect a flurry of ships once the ports get back to normal operation.
