Thought I'd create a shipments thread for market transparency...

Thought I'd create a shipments thread for market transparency based on port data. This would hopefully keep the company accountable.

According to the port of Townsville data, following were the last 5 shipments:

2023.11.05 "IVS Tembe" (GT capacity 23,224t) shipped 20,510t to NZ

2023.12.22 "Koombana Bay" (GT capacity 17,018t) shipped17,400t to Geelong (loading time 74 hours)

2024.01.20 "IVS Magpie" (GT capacity 17,019t) shipped 5,800t to Taiwan (loading time 35 hours)

2024.02.06 "Poavosa Ace" (GT capacity 17,027t) shipped 11,500t to NZ (loading time 46 hours)

2024.03.29 "Paiwan Wisdom" (GT capacity 19,825t) shipped 15,000t to NZ (loading time 68 hours)

No shipments of fertiliser were made by Aurizon from the port in April.

Next shipment of fertiliser by Aurizon is scheduled for 8 May 2014 on bulk carrier "Silver Lady" (GT capacity 16,835t). Declared loading time is 51 hours which, on historical data, suggests a shipment size of about 12,000t.

Based on the above data, the company has not made any shipments in April despite declaring that to market, and the size and frequency of shipments are not increasing. Not sure how they plan to ship another 43,000t between 9 May and 30 June 2024 to keep up with the guidance of 55,000t for Q2 CY2024.

I will update this thread when a new planned shipment appears in the port of Townsville data.
