Problem with many announcements from companies is the information provided seems clear in their mind as they are inside the project. Not sure what kind of announcement vetting they have in place, but maybe they need to somehow run the announcements past someone who isn't in 'the know' with regards to whats happening to make sure everything is simplified for holders.
