Shipping out of Geraldton

There is one ship in line at Geraldton today after the ship Proteas leaves at 10:30am (WST).

That is the ship Rising Sun which docks an hour after Proteas leaves.

There is a shut down of the wharves for maintenance from 7 to 11 May, but I am surprised that they could not organise a ship before 7 May.

On current projections total Hematite exports by KML will be 132 shiploads for a total of approximately 7.92m tonnes a drop of 7.13% on last year. This puts up the cost price per tonne to about $79. per tonne (excluding depreciation and amortisation, corporate administration, sale, royalties, ocean freight, interest and financing costs)

The ships in line will probably be listed in the next couple of days and then arrive in the next week or so.
