As per MW, to reach nameplate KML has to be sending approximately 3 ships per week. So, irrespective of the quality of the ore sending, 12 in June is not at nameplate. But could someone clarify why in the last couple of days and the lead up to 30 June why shipping apears to have slowed down? ie, ship #8 and 9 had a 4 day turnaround where we know that they can turn this around quicker. If there was not this delay then KML could have reached nameplate. Was this because of:
- insufficient ore in the shed; - insufficient ore at the plant; - ships not available; - Ansteel not wanting to take delivery; - something else.
Can anyone clarify if they know anything about the contract with Ansteel, if they are committed to take delivery of whatever ore is produced, or are Ansteel in control? This will be important if they have gain control of KML by diluting GBG's interest.
