Pretty much, I went through a detailed explanation of it a couple of months back but only copped abuse in response and no facts to correct me. Couldn't be bothered going through it all again but at least you get the point. We might have $750 left out of our wage but then we put $100 of fuel in the car (50% of that is tax) then we go buy some stuff for $200 and at least 10% of that is taxed or we buy a car and there is tax on that, all happening with money that has already been taxed as PAYE. Some people just don;t understand though.
