I just hope all nursing homes are cleaning their heating and cooling systems.
I volunteered at a lovely home many years ago .... you really see some crap
going on after a few months.

100 elderly ...... 2 lifestyle employees working 9 to 5 Mon to Fri
Each had to have 15 mins of one on one time per day ...... you do the maths.
Carers were busy showering them .... changing nappies ...controlling people that
had mental issues .....

When the home got inspected ... they got heaps of warning.
I had to sit with a book of names and tick off that they had been seen
and talked to..... books had not been updated for months ( I knew no better).
Again this was a private place.

I had to leave as it got me so down when some elderly were in pain
crying to me that they just wanted to die.

If you want to know what it is like go and volunteer for at least
6 months ... seeing most of the people that live and
work there.
