I have to think that TV coverage and internet knowledge and tertiary education may mean that in the future, people will be more reticent about accepting political fabrications.
Then again, pollies will probably find a way to subvert the truth.
It is up to us all to educate our children and grandchildren rather than hide our experiences and be reluctant to reveal our horrors of war as did our parents and grandparents for fear of anti patriotism.
