bhp interim results at 8.30 am sydney time today.. dunno about the rio takeover announcement.
I reckon this slump in the services ism in usa is a kick up the ass for aussie rba.. australia will respond to the global slowing,but probably go deeper and longer now because we have dummies at the rba.. and ffs they haven't even given earlier rises a chance to work... so we are yet to see the effect of the half dozen previous rate rises as well as yesterdays.. and anyway,the rba is taxing stuff that no one is aussie has control over.. oil cost, commodity prices... they are all global issues ... dummies imho
