i read an interesting article today stated that insurance for real estate in QLD has gone from $1500.00 a year to nearly $7000.00 if you want flood cover. Crazy but plenty of money in this business to be made. a lot of negative sentiment on QBE. i find it amazing how people are saying that all brokers are telling their clients to sell. i bet they are buying! you don't buy a business when its firing along on all pistons you buy it when its down qbe faced a tough year in 2011 low returns on investments and huge catastrophes. that said this is 2012 i lost money once investing and don't plan on making the same mistake again. in my opinion QBE is a great buy at current prices. but that is my opinion please DYOR your whole world changes when you have an understanding of how businesses operate.
