    Hi,
Just sharing this as a warning, and curious as to whether it's the norm.
Recently on the 17th Nov 2010 I noticed the world markets drop (as I'm sure lots of other people did)
I took a fairly large short position on the ASX200, was down $300 during the day, but after lunch had come out ahead over $1000, and quickly closed out.
Next day my balance was over $1000 OVERDRAWN!
I asked how this was and they informed me that they had altered the price I had sold at, so for the first part of the day I had lost - strangely exactly - what I had made later on.
So they informed me I was OK, because I hadn't lost anything, and the next day my balance would reflect that, which it did, but I did not make the $1000+ profit I should have.
I am closing my account with these sharks, and putting it down to a learning experience, but will NEVER go near a Market Maker (bucket shop) again!
