Why would an image such as this change anything; just as why would film of a journalist and cameraman being shot dead on live TV change anything. It happens all the time and if an image was enough to change public opinion on illegal migrants or gun control in the US it would have happened long before now.
I am sorry for the child. I am less sorry for the parents who put there child at risk. I am filthy at the smugglers who make money off the back of these people and give them false hope.
