Agree Rabbitoh in what you say ... 'the truth is that no country on earth really wants to take these refugees for fear this violent religion will be the cancer that sprouts in the countries they settle in, islam is at the heart of all this tragedy and this is what we need to address'... and that alone scares the hell out of me more than anything. However the plight of these people is horrific, one that none of us could ever imagine! Unfortunately though it is Europe and the USA who should be the ones helping as they are the ones who have meddled time and time again through out this and the last century in the Middle East! Yes Assad, Gaddafi, Saddam were all tyrants but then so are the Saudi's and the Qatari's and Bahraini's and many more who the west are buddies with! The answer is to accept they were wrong to get rid of Assad and start supporting him to bring stability to Syria at least!! I don't know what the answer is. Is it boots on the ground? I don't know. So many religious sects over there and I don't understand enough about them all to make commentary. The west has made this mess and we have to clean it up the best we can so these people can return to their homeland and not see the need to flee to other lands in blow up boats!
