I posted earlier that unfortunately some people had over optimistic expectations of what SDL was worth in the current environment or they were inexperienced when it came to the consequences of failed corporate action on a company that had a great resource but required large funding for it to be valuable.

This is not a criticism of them as I myself was guilty in my early investing days of the same thing and merely learnt from my involvement in many failed corporate action. Plus I was never concerned because I was confident that if we able to get to the voting stage that the scheme would have been voted through anyway and noone would have been the wiser.
