About 10km to the east is the Cosmo Gold mine now owned by Newmarket Gold Inc on the TSX.
This operation was mining at US$1,600/t and an improvement strategy was implemented that improved this to US$1,300/t. At least some of the Cosmo site is into the remediation phase. If Core finds commercial gold at Mt Shoobridge there may be potential to strike a deal that would obtain the use of the gold plant at Cosmo for presumably a fraction of the cost of a new plant.
