Just wrote my Fed member as they recently mentioned the lack of local manufacturing in regard to RATS. Sadly I live in a safe labour seat and so regardless of any actual afflilation, I always vote against labour as they have never lost, and you need to be in a swinging seat to get any attention or benefit from Gov't. The only sure way to be ignored by a political party is to be so dedicated to that party that they need do nothing in order to secure your vote. Safe seats mean your get nothing!!
Pollies drive straight past our electorate to the swinging seat west of us and pour millions of dollars into the area.
