I knew one good GP who kept watch on his appointments and would give some 15 mins but others even for review he
would allow 30 mins.
He would make sure a patient saw him write down 1 - 6 maybe. His theory being that few go for just one ailment unless it is
really severe. I know he is correct on that one.
Unless I was in agony with my toe nail I'd hardly race in for that alone.
Melanoma can appear anywhere and one sore eye, and someone I know had a melanoma behind the eye. He has lost sight in
that eye but is regularly checked now.
