Shooting the breeze on ADO, page-35

One of the things I got from watching the SBS program a while ago was how crowd behavior played a big part in overcoming
pandemics of the past.

They looked at how different US cities responded and how Seattle with a lock down compared to Philadelphia when the
Spanish flu hit.
They were keen on marches to raise money for war bonds but in different ways. Death toll remarkably different and lock downs
worked.
Here I'm thinking WA.

With AIDS too crowd behavior eventually was a changer. Leaflets handed out etc. and condoms encouraged. Some remained
selfish.
One gay friend I had, maintained that until it went to the hetro group research was only then advanced when there was more
money to be made. Few cared if gays died except their friends.

With Ebola it was changes to burial ways and any number of behavioral changes that made the difference too.

It seems aged care is having a terrible time again. So many places are short staffed and residents are not getting the care
they need.
Get on top of this please! Great people who built this country are definitely not well cared for.
