Definitely jumped the gun if you're sole judgement is on commercial success - by a country mile. Nonetheless, decent science being independently validated, whilst employing local scientists including graduates. Considering the offshore brain-drain, it's not a bad story for a pollie to jump on (despite us mugs).
As has been raised before, one has to question why an LNP member from an adjacent seat is taking such an interest. Without a doubt he's advertising, but why and to what extent? His constituents probably won't care at the next election. Perhaps he's holding? Or perhaps he sees a coat-tail that needs riding?
