Big E, some would suggest it's about supporting the company by providing immediate funds prior to any speculated funding/grants. If this company can get through the next six months then your lifestyle will probably change (or those apparent future benefactors, the charities) all the much for the better.

Given you've been so persistently vocal in your support of this company, and remind us constantly of how much cash you're sitting on, one would have thought you'd have supported every last option conversion, and encouraged others to do the same. I know I did.

Now if you were an in-and-out investor like some cool cats around here, then I can understand why you wouldn't bother unless there was at least a pip to be made. Having said that, as other others have pointed out, even in this case there was!
