mmm watso was at a vegie shop and the watermelons were 80c/kg (ok -really 79c/kg).. and by comparison watermelons at woolies were $2.90/kg (and probably the same at coles) ..

anyway watso takes his chances and buys a modest sized 5.5kg watermelon .. for about $4.50 .. (and yeah yeah .. watso tapped the melon to see if it gave the hollow sound) ..
anyway, after the purchase, watso thought he would look online on how to select a watermelon..
just look online for your good selves ..
mmm the melon that watso bought had a semi light underbelly and a brown belly button .. and sort of sounded hollow ..
lol lol watso will cut the melon open in the next day or two ..
one thing for sure is that watso would never pay $2.90/kg for a bit of flavoured water -- and that includes the protective layer
