Shopping centres up for sale as hard times bite

Sales are being conducted of five major shopping centres in Western Australia. GPT is believed to be preparing to sell the Floreat Forum for $A115m. The Centro Galleria is also on the market, while the sale of Centro Dianella for a reported $A55m is close to being finalised. Centro Properties is selling 50% stakes in Morley Galleria plus shopping centres in Mandurah and Halls Heads. The sales are being conducted through the Centro Australia Wholesale Fund, with the Centro Retail Trust to keep the remaining stakes
