So, given 4DS is a very different "model", I decided today to start tracking it for a while. All in the learning.

The table below shows where they currently stand in terms of data.

I had to do a double take for todays aggregate data - never seen it before where the report is "missing' the stock. My assumption is that all shorts were closed the day before!!! Often when a lot of new shorts are added (Column C), its countered by buying back stock to close positions (Column H). From the data, this appears to be what happened. All open shorts were closed on Wednesday! (Not surprising really).

Will update daily until its no longer of interest ...

Here's that ASIC Aggregate data which is "missing" 4DS - which I assume means - reported as zero.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but given this significant risk in shorting if not held, wouldn’t the majority of these short positions be covered shorts?
Are they just shorting to give some downside risk protection to a long position in 4DS?
