    I guess if they want to buy 3 shares at a time that is up to them.
    What I would like to know is how is the commission being calculated on all these micro trades?
    I have read that people seem to think it is going from one account to another held by the same entity at the same broker. Do they get charged a transaction fee? If they do, then they surely cannot be making any money.
    I might seem naive but what is the benefit of turning over ownership in this way? Why would you want to hand yourself 3 shares from your left hand to your right? Are they simply creating an artificial market at the lowest price possible and turning over the same share lots of times so there seems to be a big amount of selling? If there are serious buyers, they will surely lose in the end?
