I am bemused at how, periodically, we here on poly's HC site are blessed with a visitation by a new expert ...
I am sure we all remember stockrock and his 20 posts in a day telling all and sundry that the financial analysis for poly was iffy and that therefore we should definitely not be buying ..
now we have new line of thought .. we are being taught the arcane knowledge surrounding the legal practice of shorting .. hey, it is legal therefore it must be good ... a non-sequitur if I ever heard one..
and no it is apparently not this disreputable practice and its associated 75 million shorts which are responsible for the low SP ... the SP is low because there is no natural buyer .. a growth fund.. a value fund ..
it is simple conflation when knowledge about a topic (in this case shorting) is combined with what is in essence nothing more than an opinion (the real value of SP)
yet this tactic has been repeatedly used by our frenemies ..
