The pattern is obvious now isn't it?
The sharts are trying to exit as painlessly as possible.
But, despite the market headwinds today - they just can't get the volume that they were after and the SP has done well to bounce back to be above the opening price - so where now for the sharts?
~57m outstanding short positions.
Let's see ~30m of that being closed on the open market
