i dont agree sick or injured people seek treatment regardless of macro conditions. the stats dont shoe that. in s recession even consumer spending drops on healthcare: anything that individual deems not as critical they wont get treated they will delay treatment or forgo it completely. higher unemployment due to increased interest rates the US market many employers offer healthcare as part of their employment perks; if they loosr their job they loose their provate healthcare. i agree its recession resistant but its not recession proof.
serious burns though or where skin needs to be replaced wouldnt be considered discretionary healthcare; but things like diabetic ulcers might be for the aging individual.
apparently the ebitda of most major hospitals dropped by 30% in the last recession.
lets see how the hiring goes.

i worked in recruitment for a very short time so also got to see what it is like as a recruiter; how companies hire and how sometimes candidates and jobs fall through.
