sure every fund is minus something depending on the asset allocation mix. Even if your superfund is 100% defensive because of the last 12 months of bond markets you may have negative returns. You may be invested in PNV and maybe couple of others that are doing better, maybe property. That is great and well done. But when someone says that superfund is loosing money that sound wrong on so many levels. Superfund doesn’t lose money. Investments in superfund go up or down. I stand behind my life experience, most people underperform even their own investments. My point is, getting 7% rolling return by using fund managers is easy. Easy. Australians get even 7% in lousy MySuper investments and they don’t even care about superannuation.
