Well, unfortunately, we won’t know until next week the extent to which shorts have closed positions over the past three trading days. My guess is that they are under 30 mill by now, with probably more to come.

I agree absolutely about the nonsense so-called explanations doing the rounds (e.g. tight cash flow position - sigh!) that conveniently ignore the bloody big elephant in the room.

Just in passing, I do recommend freely using the ignore facility, my list is now very long but it makes it so much easier to read the quality posts made by you Kick and the many others that make this message board a worthwhile place to visit.
