Short Activity in PNV, page-4370

Hi kick ... fantastic work on the short data ... I've never seen such a comprehensive report as that. I've tried to do a similar job before but never got to that level of data sophistication - so a big thank you from me.

I am only TA, very little FA. But I've been watching DW / PNV for a while and have a decent long term holding in ARX. I see ARX as a longer term buy and hold and PNV as a lovely trader, particularly with your short data as it becomes a rather excellent learning process for such a violent mover ... I partially blame / expect Merchant are behind this (shorting) as I'm of the opinion they manipulate as much as they can (via dark pool / centre point trading) when they have a significant holding so they can make money on the side using their investors funds for known security so never have to be naked shorts.

PNV is just going to be a trader for me as I like to hone up my TA trading on such stocks and haven't currently got one under the microscope - so seeing your short data I knew I just had to go long (I don't short) here as I expect the volume today is under 2m which suggests a bullish downward wedge on greatly reducing volume with a massive gap above that is bound to get filled sometime in the future (quarterly report) on great news (the gap starts at around $1.53)

So I just can't see too much risk here.

In the past the weekly chart (I use a three year chart for this) would generally suggest the price will bounce a little here then drift down again to hit the lower BBand.

I was half waiting for that ... might be somewhere around $1.10 - $1.20 in 1-2 months ... but your short data has motivated me to open a modest long trading position today for 20k shares at $1.31. If it does double bottom again ... I'll double down or re-invest if I've sold this bounce (if that's what happens).

Under normal trading patterns with the US futures looking red right now - I'd guess a close at $1.30 today for an indecisive doji on reducing volume. So I was going to hold out for an entry at $1.305, but my excitement about your short data got the better of me and I paid an extra half cent for my entry at $1.31 - lol.
