Also note that the fall from $1.68 ish was on very low volume and no marked increase in shorts.
My analysis of the last short squeeze between 9th June 22 and 7th Feb clearly shows that the aggregate shorts on loan is a longer lag indicator and the daily % short sold a short term lag indicator.
I'm a long term investor trying to better understand the highs and lows.
