I am a long-term investor and when someone can have a long and short fund and use a system to manipulate pricing depending on what side they are weighted on and repeatedly get pinged and fined by ASIC but allowed to continue we have big problems.... I'm sure every share in the ASX 300 is targeted in this manner. We are just lucky enough that we get an armchair into the man who runs it because he has a big mouth.
The market isn't always fair value on stocks, FMG was $5 4 years ago and heavily shorted and openly manipulated by Soros and co while delivering similar results they are today with a value of nearly $30.
If you can't see what is happening on any day then you aren't looking deep enough and are happy to accept the instos version of liquidity BS.
Wild 10-20% fluctuations in value over a week are orchestrated and manipulated to move wealth from private investors to instos, these arent natural trading cycles but are fueled by 2 sets of rules
