Well, last Thursday when gross short sales went up and the sp went down, aggregate shorts fell to 19,869,938 or 2.88% of total shares. So while gross shorts went up the net figure went down - more shorts closed than sold. They were able to close shorts at a lower sp.
Anyway, the trend down continues.
Yesterday’s gross short sales figure was only 279,152.
