From the looks of it, the daily shorts have recently increased since the annual report (200-300k daily), but overall they're still decreasing.
I suspect they're trying to make a last ditch attempt to cover, as they know they don't have another chance to smash it down to $1, and with sales accelerating, the BARDA results looming (with approval thereafter), with other countries entering the mix, etc, they're running out of time.
I'd imagine a good strategy would be to attempt to sell a large parcel to cause the price to plummet, then buy back all those sales triggered by stop losses, in the hopes to decrease the short position overall.
It's interesting that every morning, there's a big push down, then a gradual slow rise in the price during the day. It's a consistent pattern, and a real change from the trading that was going on prior to the annual report.
They've still got 17m shares outstanding. I wonder if we are going to see a bit of a squeeze soon - it will need a trigger though I suspect.
All IMO, I'm just gonna keep holding regardless
