Yep, it takes a relatively small amount of money to push the sentiment around and other traders, margin calls and stop losses and useful idiots will aid them in their goals. They keep on doing it because they can and it works. If you look at the relentless small parcels that are traded and designated as cross trades its likely between accounts controlled by the same entity and then notified to the ASX, but its never seen the trading floor. Legal? yes apparently.
