I am new to shorting, was aware of it but not an expert. I can see PNV being excluded from the ASX200 on June 6. Then the shorters buy in from those funds that sell. Then the shorters give the borrowed shares back. Having bought the shares back would not the shorters want the SP to go north and then give them back. I would be peeved if I gave a shorter the shares, they did their thing and devalued the SP and the gave them back to me damaged. I would not give the shorters the shares again ever. DW said that PNV was the 10th most shorted share on the ASX, can somebody list the other 9plc.
