I have been meaning to look into the State Street becoming a substantial holder (again) notice from around 21st May.

What immediately caught my eye is that their last notice was 20/1/2025 which is just before the latest short attack began in earnest on 23/1/2025.

After labouring on my Casio FX92 calculator find below the summary and notes. My money is on JPM being the major lender for the latest short attack.

I also note that the percent of daily shorts dropped dramatically once the price went below $1.31 which correlates pretty well with the other ball park calculations I have posted to get a feel for what they have to buy back at.

Any way this added information is handy. If we retain our ASX200 spot I think it will be long slog for the shorts. Court ruling against tariffs will help if the republicans don't pass them in congress.

    Interesting times.
