Almost certainly closing out some now....anyone who was shorting this from $1.40 down and has not closed out would be getting extremely nervous and feeling some tension over the buy button.
Any hint of a positive announcement and this could absolutely fly with sorters scrambling to close their positions and therefore creating a hard and fast short squeeze.
My 10c is that with substantial insider buying drying up there is market sensitive info on the way. Our Board, specifically our Chairman, holds some cards and it is up to him how they get played. If his one man war v shorter's is to play out I'd suggest he has 3 or 4 aces (announcements) in his hand to play in reasonably quick succession. CEO, CFP, Sales Guidance, 1st Profit, New Product, New Markets........the list is extensive.
The shorters need a seismic shock of bad news, market or stock specific, to drive the momentum lower here. Bad news for them that the market had that last week and PNV rose 10-15%........
