It's interesting when you compare the previous short squeeze against the one that occurring atm...
So where is the starting point for the current short squeeze.
If we consider the start from when the SP was in the 80s, then the previous short squeeze didn't have the massive drop as per late August 2022 (refer to @acouch graph below) - that makes it hard to compare like for like.
Meanwhile, the macro environment has changed from Covid-19 concerns to inflationary concerns
Back to PNV, the FA has improved, whilst the Sharts still have ~47m outstanding short positions to buy back
The damn wall is breaking, with yesterday being one of the short squeeze days - cheers for more to come
Let's see the Daily Gross Short Sales first and then how the SP performs today vs the red ASX day
