The timing and the details of short share sale declarations isn't always clear or reliable since it gets mixed in with stock being corrowed and returned and there is a delay in processing.
But rest assured, short traders love to exaggerate the volatility of PNV. And as long as the trend is up they don't make as much money as they used to.
My bet is that there will be a not so friendly broker out there circulating a letter declaring that PNV is over valued and they should sell it and buy MSB or some other stock they have a relationship with.
