As long as what’s in the battery is on the periodic table, they should be able to recycle it. If they can get it out of ore…it may require changes to the hydromet process but definitely doable...and probably being worked on already.
Wrt to Na and K in batteries, they may be ok in stationary applications but at 3 and 5 times the weight of Li, they’re suitability for transport is questionable.
