When to cover...the shorts are taking a big big bet...essentially they are not betting against NMT but "The Engineers and Scientists of Mercedes"...I don't believe the people behind the shorts expected the Mercedes deal and by going even shorter are burying their head deeper in the sand...Mercedes is about the best engineering and science based company NMT could get involved with...At this point it would be wise to review the innovations that Mercedes have created over the years...recently a) more than forty active electronic and digital driver safety systems to protect drivers and b)The ABS antilock breaking system c)the 4Matic all wheel driving system d) Mercedes created the first safety vehicle..no sharpened interiors ,crumple zones ,airbags ,halogen lighting,the inflatable seatbelt.The steering wheel and pedal cluster that automatically retract into the firewall built round the passengers for protection..that came out in 2019.
Yes technology from the very advanced to the simple safety belt which has saved innumerable lives...now talking about the engines takes us into a huge range of developments from the honey comb radiator to the multivalve engine to the supercharged engine and well beyond.
Yes Mercedes inventions and engineering achievements are now used in cars around the world.
We should also remember that Very Advanced Computer Technology is used by Mercedes in building and checking their new advanced technologies and systems before they are ever physically built...so you see NMT recycling technologies would have been fully tested through advanced computer modelling before Mercedes would have agreed to involving themselves in any new technologies.
Yes the shorts are betting against arguably the most advanced engineering and scientific group in the world....and one of the very first to build and develop Artificial Intelligence into their advanced computer systems analysis.
The shorts will eventually get incinerated...they just didn't do their homework after Mercedes deal was announced ....or they would be closing and getting out before they are involved in a very costly exercise of it being almost impossible to cover unless at eventually only very high prices.
One feels almost sorry for the shorts naivety ...yes very easy shorting until that Mercedes deal.This deal has changed the playing field with that recycling order and still the market has not grasped the significance of the Mercedes involvement !!!!
