Thanks for your comment on AWE it was a steal. It seems a long time ago. Certainly the longest period I can remember without any merger/T/O action in the oil/gas sector. What does this mean? Do companies not notice that they can get proven oil/gas reserves at a lot cheaper prices than it would cost them than trying to find them. Do they see no future for the sector they are involved in. Or are they scared to try and get finance with the current attitude towards fossil fuels. Not bringing up the dreaded CVN T/O talk again but it would be a great buy for some one prepared to wait a year or two. One would have to think there has to be action in the sector at some point soon. Who will be the next to attract interest. I could name a few that look interesting.
