Plenty of shorts to be bought back so prices will edge up for quite some time.
Once all unwound the SP will see a bit of pressure, but ultimately unless you need the money just hold on.
I sold around $6 after an almighty jump a few years ago thinking it couldn't be sustained, and although the SP paused for awhile it continued upwards and I bought back in around $7 so I left a bit on the table but glad I moved to pick up DDR again and not stubbornly wait for a retrace.
The moral for me is let your good ones run. Might be different for retirees or SMSF's in low tax environment.
