Hi OE as nippa said, most likely averaging up, based on the recent trade history below, the additional 1,831,232 reported on Shortman that was added on the 31/8/21 (which most likely includes at least the day before as only 666,039 shares were traded on the 31st) and seeing as we had green days on the 1/9 & the 2/9 they are most likely averaging up. The positive is, if averaging up is actually the case they will ensure this floats around this level for some time until they can mitigate some of their losses. The proof in the pudding will be the advise from Shortman later today and possibly tomorrow that the shorts have continued their closing, if it is a spike up again however then the only justification of this would be they are pot committed, which In my opinion they will undoubtedly have countermeasures to accommodate the impending short squeeze!
