not difficult to understand shorters' logic, q1 is so important and very likely not as good as previous ones in terms of growth
even though following quaters may recover and go well, why would people not wait 3 months or longer before they start buying?
current reporting & div strategy is vulnerable, the team may never thought of this situation, or maybe they did but could do nothing when the boss just wanted it to be
q1 sets the market expection for the following quaters, and because most cash was distributed, it's hard to set the interim div target at a higher level even though they know q2-q4 will be better
hope i'm wrong and/or some positive news to be released soon
